Privacy Policy

FreeWrite Toolkit is a static website. Most text processing happens locally in your browser. We do not require accounts or logins, and we do not track you by default.

Client-side tools (fully local)

The following tools process your text entirely in your browser. Your text is never uploaded or stored on any server:

IELTS Writing Checker (AI-powered)

The IELTS Writing Checker uses artificial intelligence to analyze your writing. When you click "Analyze with AI," your question, essay text, and Task 1 image when provided are sent to our server, which forwards them to a third-party AI service for processing:

We do not store, log, or retain your essay text or uploaded Task 1 image on our servers. Your submitted content is passed through to the AI service and discarded immediately after the response is returned. We do not use your essays or images to train any AI models.

Your IP address is temporarily used for rate limiting (to prevent abuse) and is not stored permanently.

What we collect

  • No user accounts or logins are required.
  • No analytics or tracking scripts are included by default.
  • We do not store your text; it stays on your device (except when using the IELTS AI checker as described above).

Advertising cookies

After Google AdSense approval, ads may be displayed. AdSense can use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can review and manage ad preferences through Google settings.

Optional analytics

If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated. For now, no analytics are enabled.
